About us…

Starting as a backyard Bible study in 2015 is when Point of Life Community Church was established. We have gradually grown from a backyard Bible study, to a small building, to our now full blown church building that was built in 2017! Time and time again we faced obstacles, hurtles, and even resistance, but time and time again God has provided and made a way for us, showing us that Plaucheville is where He wants us to be. God has placed us in the Plaucheville community to serve and provide spiritual support, and He ensures we have what we need.

We are of the Southern Baptist religion, but our focus is building relationships, not religion. Visit our section on “What to Expect” to familiarize yourself with how our church operates and what to expect when you come visit us!

Sunday School

Sunday School: 9:30 A.M.

Each Sunday morning we have Sunday School that focuses on Bible studies that take one book of the Bible at a time, and breaks it down with verse by verse explanations.

We have Sunday School classes for everyone! We have 1st-6th grade, Preschool/Kindergarten, teens, women, and men classes.

Worship Service

Worship Service: 10:30 A.M.

Worship service involves worship music ranging from old hymns to contemporary Christian songs you’ll hear on the radio. Worship service is where us sinners worship our perfect God!

Following worship songs, our pastor, Norris Landry, preaches straight from the Word of God. During Worship service, our Bible translation of choice is NKJV, but all verses are available for viewing during service on a slideshow.

Prayer is POWERFUL! Through Jesus, we’re allowed to be in God’s presence where we can take our worries and problems straight to Him. We want to know how we can pray for you and your needs.
